Requirements

What you ideally bring to the team:  

  • Proficiency in written and verbal English language (technical + general)  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field  

  • At least 2 years of experience in business-related projects (>3 proven projects)  

  • Knowledge in Git  

  • Proficiency in using GitHub (any other Git-based code and CI/CD tool) 

  • Experience with working with GitHub actions (or any other pipeline tool like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps…) 

  • Experience with Docker  

  • Experience with Kubernetes  

  • Experience with Cloud (AWS/MS Azure/GCP, Digital Ocean, Hetzner…) 

  • Understanding and capability to configure aspects related to TCP/IP, HTTP/S, load balancing, and virtual private networks (VPNs) 

  • familiarity with server technologies such as Nginx and Node.js 

  • deep understanding of operating system fundamentals in systems like Ubuntu, Debian and Linux distribution systems 

  • Experience with writing Shell scripts  

  • Expertise in managing file systems, and proficiency in working with databases including MySQL, MariaDB 

  

Additional skills (not required but considered advantageous):  

  • Experience with Rancher (open shift) 

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana/Prometheus) 

  • IaaC tools (e.g. Terraform) 

  • Understanding scripting with languages including Bash, Python 

  • Knowledge of Javascript 

 

About your role

As a DevOps/Cloud Engineer, you will be working on our digital health products: apps for patients and families living with rare neuromuscular disorders and currently available in App-Stores in Europe. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in their lives by helping to improve their health outcomes.
Your collection is already set up for you with fields and content. Add your own or import content from a CSV file. Add fields for any type of content you want to display, such as rich text, images, videos and more. You can also collect and store information from your site visitors using input elements like custom forms and fields.

Be sure to click Sync after making changes in a collection, so visitors can see your newest content on your live site. Preview your site to check that all your elements are displaying content from the right collection fields.
